It really doesn't matter, as long as he can live up to us promise and do more than half of what he intended to do.

Those are my immediate, split-second thoughts. I have also found out that, in terms of split-second thoughts, I'm a racist. (Malcolm Gladwell study) So I guess I'm consistent.
You look more white caucasian than asian but you work in an asian environment so I think of you as more asian.
Obama is african american
Thanks for your comment about psalm 39. It reminds me of the song that goes, "I am a flower quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow, and wave tossed in the ocean, a vapor in the mist"
I think that when we think of this as our only lives, it makes it harder..but when we realize that this life is just a small shadow compared to eternity, that puts things into better perspective.
On the other hand, I shared my blog w/ a friend who recently became a christian and she said that the christians that used to come up to her and "share" used to seriously scare her. They used to look her in the face and use a strange soft voice and say, "have you heard about Jesus???" Anyway, she said that they really gave her a creepy feeling about Christians...so I guess while it is important to share, maybe developing the relationship and letting them know how you life is also an equally important part of "witnessing"
it doest matter what you are to me, ill be your friend if your green
